Release in 2022
The prologue of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY. Set to release this summer before the broadcast of the TV anime series in October 2022, it will be shown for the first time at "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -LINK THE UNIVERSE-", an event that will take place across venues such as GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA and THE GUNDAM BASE Virtual World, and later on released at other events all over the world, such as San Diego Comic-Con 2022.

Hiyori Suzumi, who left her hometown to continue pursuing her passion of track and field, enrolls in Tokyo's Sakuragaoka High School. In searching for a part-time job, Hiyori ends up becoming an apprentice manager for her classmates Yuujirou Someya and Aizou Shibasaki, who are members of the idol group LIPxLIP. The story follows the struggles that Hiyori faces with school, extracurricular activities, and her managing job, as well as the idol group LIPxLIP as they perform on stage.

Beast Tamer Rein, who uses animals, was a member of the hero's party. However, since he couldn't do anything else, he wasn't able to keep up in battle. "You only know how to play with animals. You're fired." Rein is kicked out of the party and now lives freely as an adventurer. On his journey, he meets a girl from a cat tribe, the so-called strongest species. Elsewhere, the hero's party remains unaware that their previous success was all thanks to Rein... This is the story of a beast tamer no longer held back and his fateful encounter with a precious companion.
