Kido Saori is a young girl troubled by her mysterious powers. She is saved by Seiya from an assassin sent to kill her. Saori then learns she is the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena with Seiya being one of her 88 Saints. Upon learning of her destiny, she heads to the Sanctuary to wage war against its Pope. Seiya, alongside fellow Bronze Saints Hyouga, Shiryuu, Shun, and Ikki must pass through the twelve Zodiac Temples in Athena's Sanctuary in twelve hours, in order to save their goddess Athena from imminent death. They must confront each of the twelve Gold Saints that guard each of the temples in order to reach the cure that will save Athena.

One fine day, as always, Ryoko and Aeka are busy fighting over Tenchi. Tenchi takes a walk into the mountains for a breather, but he never returns. Six months later, there is still no sign of him. Together, Ryoko and Aeka move to the city and use their time off from work to search for Tenchi. A chance encounter reveals to them an older, more mature Tenchi with no memory of Ryoko or Aeka. To make matters worse, he seems to have found a new love in the person of Haruna.

After being chased by the Marine through a huge storm, the crew arrives at the harbour of Hannabal. After stuffing themselves - or rather Luffy - Nami's nose picks up on the smell of money. Drawn in by the prize money of 300.000.000 Beri, they decide to take part in the every few years happening everything-goes race to reach a certain destination - alive. On the night before the race they happen to make contact with Gasparde, an ex-Marine that is feared by other pirates and hated by the Marine; his gang; and Shuraiya Bascud, a headhunter that is more than he seems at first.After the night is over, the morning arrives and thus the beginning of their new Dead End Adventure.
